Ivo Bozon is a Senior Partner with McKinsey & Company in Zurich. During his 30 years with McKinsey, Ivo has been working with clients in Asia, Russia, Africa, Europe and the US, serving a wide range of clients in O&G, utilities, and advanced industries.
Within McKinsey Ivo held a number of the most senior positions, including Chairman Global Client Council, Managing Partner Global Oil & Gas Sector, Managing Partner Global Energy and Materials Sector, member of the Shareholders Council (McKinsey’s Board). Since 10 years, Ivo serves at the Board of McKinsey Investment Office (10+ bln investment fund) and is currently Chairman of the Investment Committee and Vice Chairman of the Board.
He has extensive experience in working with International Majors, National Oil companies, host governments as well as selected independents and oil field services providers. He has deep experience incorporate and asset based transactions, having worked on numerous deals across the globe, both with majors as well as private equity players.
He has significant expertise in advising executive management teams and engaging boards of directors of major Oil & Gas and Industrial players on end to end corporate and business strategy formulation.
Ivo has also deep expertise in driving transformational change programs on a global basis in up,- and downstream as well as in selected markets in the Middle-East, Asia and Russia. He is a frequent speaker and participant in the key ‘podia’ in the energy industry across the globe.
Before joining McKinsey, Ivo worked with Royal Dutch Shell, both in the Netherlands and in Singapore. He holds master degrees in econometrics and economics and studied at Indiana Business School (US) and London Business School (UK). Ivo is married to Mari and has 5 children, he lives both in Sweden and Switzerland.
