Adriano Alfani

Adriano Alfani was Born in Naples, Italy, he is a chemical engineer, and he has been Versalis’ CEO since January 2021, after having held various roles in the chemical industry abroad.

With over 20 years of experience, he has worked in international markets of significant size and complexity, with responsibilities in supply chain, marketing, strategy development, and global business management.

He is also the President of Matrìca, Versalis’ joint venture with Novamont in renewable chemicals.

Mr Alfani is Vice President of Federchimica and Member of the General Council of Confindustria. He is in the Board of the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) and in the Board of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) where he also holds the position of Chairman of the Membership Committee.
